Haynes® alloy 188

Haynes® alloy 188 is a strong cobalt-based nickel alloy with excellent high-temperature strength and a good resistance to oxidizing environments. Haynes® alloy 188 is resistant to temperatures up to 1093°C. The high chromium content combined with the small additions of the transition element lanthanum create a very tenacious and protective alloy. This alloy has a good resistance to sulphur oxides, as well as excellent metallurgical stability, combined with good deformability properties. (UNS R30188)
